DATED WED., OCT. 14, 1987Funeral services for Charlie F. Roenfeld, 87, of Glnewood, were last Saturday, Oct. 10 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola.
The Rev. Roger Prescott officiated with burial at the Mineola Cemetery.
Roenfeld was a retired Mills County farmer who died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1987 at a Council Bluffs hospital.
Roenfeld moved into Glenwood July 1, 1958. He entered Glen Haven Home Aug. 9, 1984.
He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola. He and his wife, Clare (Miller) have been married 63 years.
Other survivors besides his wife, Clare, include five daughters, Mrs. Sheldon (Delores) Williams of Silver City, Mrs. Paul (Joan) Miller of Tehachapi, Calif., Mrs. Glenn (Darlene) Thacker of Odessa, Texas, Mrs. Charles (Rozetta) Burson and Mrs. Duane (Ruth) Sell, both of Glenwood; one sister, Clara Ballior of Phoenix, Arizona; an aunt, Emma Bichel of Glnewood; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Roger Williams, Kevin Williams, Wayne Burson, David Burson, Mike Sell and Doug Thacker.
