WED., JUNE 10, 1987Albert M. “Mace” Watts, 86, died early Friday morning at his farm residence due to a sudden heart attack.
Funeral services were Monday at the Raynor Funeral Home in Glenwood. The Rev. Evan Williams officiated with burial at the Glenwood Cemetery.
Watts had been living alone due to his wife being in failing health and presently residing at Glen Haven Nursing Home in Glenwood.
Watts was born and raised in the Mills County area. He was a farmer.
He married Lilah March 22, 1962 at the age of 61 years. He was fond of racing horses and has owned some horses.
He also love to hunt and fish.
Watts is survived by his wife, Lilah; his sister, Pearl A. Watts Wright of Wakefield, Neb.; stepdaughters, Mrs. Thurman (Sally) Harried of Stoughton, Wis., Mrs. Gerald (Gloria) Wilson of Kentucky, Mrs. Duane (Audrey) Rogers of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Arthur (Joyce) Cummings of Wis.; nieces, nephews and cousins.
