DATED WED. NOVEMBER 22, 2006Kathryn L. Taylor, age 78, of Council Bluffs, died Nov. 12, 2006, at her home.
A private family entombment at Ridgewood Mausoleum was held Nov. 16, 2006. Rev. Dean Surface, retired Methodist Pastor of Tabor, officiated.
She was born in Council Bluffs on Nov. 3, 1928, to Carn and Frances (Wilson) Godsey, and was raised in Pacific Junction. She was a former resident of Glenwood, where she graduated in 1946. She was of the Methodist faith. On Sept. 5, 1948, she married Kenneth A. Taylor. They moved to Council Bluffs in 1955 where she was a saleslady for Amway Products until her retirement in 1971.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter; and brothers, Jim Godsey; and John Godsey. She is survived by her husband; sons, Rock Taylor and wife Jean of Cape Fair, Mo.; Jeff Taylor and wife Nicole of Malvern; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Godsey of Golden, Mo.; Sam Godsey of Council Bluffs; Scott Godsey of Branson, Mo.; sisters, Jacqueline Holmes of Glenwood; Marguerite Oliphant of Pacific Junction; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the family. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home of Council Bluffs was in charge of arrangements.
