of 85 Years, Services in
Tabor TodayMrs. Margaret Delavan, 85, widow of Hiram A. Delavan, died Saturday noon at her home in north Tabor.
Funeral services were held this Monday at 2 o'clock, at the Reeves Funeral home in Tabor. Burial was made at Pleasant Hill cemetery northwest of Tabor.
She is survived by two children, Richard of Glenwood and Mrs. C. P. LeMire of Kansas City, Mo., three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Roland of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Jennie Seeger of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Julia McClure of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Anna Seeger of Tabor, and one brother, George Estes of Tabor.
Mrs. Delavan was the daughter of Richard Estes, who came to Mills County in 1852, she had lived in Mills county all her life.
She was a charter member of the Christian Church at Pleasant Hill and a member of Tabor chaper of the O.E.S.
She was a school mate of Ralph McPherron who also died at his home in Glenwood about noon the same day.
