Services were Tuesday in Glenwood for Marguerite Savage dean, 87. She died Sunday at her home in Glenwood.

Mrs. Dean was born on Sept. 4, 1897 in Columbus, Neb., the daughter of Michael and Katheryn Savage. She married Leonard C. Dean on Oct. 25, 1924 and has been a resident of Glenwood for 61 years.

Survivors include a son, John C. Dean of Glenwood; three grandchildren,Jeffrey, Martha and Grant; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her husband, in 1962.

Services were at Peterson Mortuary with the Rev. Frank Bognanno officiating. Music was provided by Sybil Finken, soloist, and Ardis Dusenberry, organist. Casket bearers were Dick DeLashmutt, Danny Elizondo, Jerry Kaiman, Paul Cheyney, Don Rhoden and Dick LaRue. Interment was at Glenwood Cemetery.
