Mrs. Charles Hubbell Dies At Home Here

Mrs. Charles Hubbell died this morning (Thursday) at her home at 12 North Locust. Funeral services are pending to be announced by Raynor-Hamilton Funeral chapel

MRS. C.T. HUBBELL

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Raynor-Hamilton Funeral chapel for Mrs. Charles T. Hubbell, 88, a lifelong resident of Mills county, who died Thursday, March 2, at her home in Glenwood. She had been ill for some time. The Rev. Fred Dean of Hilton, N.Y., a nephew of the deceased, conducted the services.

Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Coe Peppers, Jr. of Omaha, and Mrs. John White. Flower ladies were Mrs. Harold Sutton, Mrs. Russell Crouch, Mrs. Dan Allen and Mrs. Alfred Johnson. Pallbearers were Harold Sutton, Bert Colwell, Russell Crouch, Alfred Johnson, Dan Allen and John White.

Interment was in Glenwood cemetery.

Mary Ann Jackson was born June 13, 1872, in Mills county, Iowa, the daughter of John and Eliza Jane Jackson. She was married to Charles T. Hubbell on March 18, 1896.

They made their home on a farm south of Glenwood for many years, moving to Glenwood in 1941.
Two children, LeRoy and Helen May, died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Leo Plumb; and a great-grandson, Donald Plumb, all of Glenwood.
