DATED AUGUST 24, 1914:

Thelma, the 17 months old baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Crouch, died suddenly Saturday evening about 9 p.m. from an attack of whooping cough. The little one had barely recovered from an attack of the measles and her weakened condition could not resist the attack of the new disease. The funeral occurred today (Monday) from the Holiness church at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Thompson of the Christian church.
