BROTHER SHOT BY BROTHER

Carroll, the 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Trively, was instantly killed last Friday by the accidental discharge of a gun at the family home in the southeast part of White Cloud township.

He and an older brother were in the kitchen making preparations to go on a rabbit hunt and while they were cleaning the gun it was discharged, killing the younger boy.

A physician was summoned, but life was extinct before he arrived.

Dr. J. M. Donelan, county coroner, was notified by telephone, and after making inquiry about the accident he concluded it was not necessary to hold an inquest.
