DATED WED. AUG. 27, 1997:

Geraldine (Geri) A. Lemonds, 77, of Glenwood died Tuesday, August 19, 1997, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Friday, August 22, 1997, at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood.

Mrs. Lemonds was born December 29, 1919, in Tabor to Orval and Pearl (Hiatt) Bell. She was married in Missouri on May 28, 1938, to Leon E. Lemonds. Before moving to Glenwood in 1953, she lived in Strahan. She was a secretary at Glenwood Sr. High for many years.

Mrs. Lemonds was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two daughters, Connie (Lemonds) Schoening and Marilyn Lee Lemonds. Survivors include one son, Gary L. Lemonds of Omaha; one daughter, Vicki Harden of Mount Vernon, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
