DATED JANUARY 11, 1978:

Services were held Jan. 4 for Adolph Cashmer (Cash) Janulewicz, 56, who died Dec. 31 at a Council Bluffs hospital following a short illness.

Mr. Janulewicz was born June 3, 1922 in Litchfield, Neb. to Floyd K. and Helen Kwiatowski Janulewicz.

He attended public schools in Litchfield and Loup City, Neb. in 1940, he made his home with Robert and Helen Schoening near Mineola, working on their farm until September, 1944, when he entered the United States Army. He served until October, 1946, when he returned to Iowa to farm.

On June 10, 1948, he was married to Irene White of Glenwood. They spent the early years of their marriage on a farm near Silver City. In 1969, they moved to a farm home near Malvern.

Mr. Janulewicz was a member of the Gordon May Post No. 439 of the American Legion, Silver City, and the Malvern United Methodist Church.

Services were held at the church with he Rev. Charles E. Cowell, Jr. officiating.

Music was provided by Tracy Ryan and Bill Gilbert, organist.

Mrs. Philip Dashner was in charge of the registry book.

Flower bearers were: Mrs. Calvin Scheel, Mrs. Archie Scott, Mrs. Eldon Schultz and Mrs. Danny Woods.

Honorary bearers were: Floyd Brammer, Harry Evans, John Schoening, Archie Scott and Eldon Schultz.

Casket bearers were: Tom Clark, Ace Meads, Calvin Scheel, Ed Sell, Fay Timson and Gary Wunschel.

Military graveside rites and burial was held in the Malvern Cemetery.

The Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his widow, Irene; a daughter, Linda Sell of Wellman and a son, Larry, serving with the Army in Germany, one granddaughter; his mother, Helen Janulewicz of Loup City, Neb.; three brothers, Raymond and Leo of North Platte, Neb. and Paul of Loup City; three sisters, Barbara Moraczewski of Omaha, Neb., Wanda Klimek of Loup City and Eloise Riley of Arvada, Colo.
