THE MALVERN LEADER
THURS. FEBRUARY 15, 1973:Memorial services were held at the Mansfield Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., for Arthur B. Walker, Pastor Jim Stenger, officiant.
Music for the service was provided by Mrs. W. G. Blackburn, Jr., organist, and Mrs. Earl Price was at the registry book. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Verlin Hardy and Mrs. Gregory Jones. Casket bearers were Carroll Blackburn, Melvin Trimmer, Verlin Hardy, Charles Costello, Jon F. Kemp and Gregory Jones.
Interment was in the Malvern cemetery.
Mr. Walker was born on a farm near Silver City March 21, 1889. His parents were Walter and India Walker.
He died on Feb. 6, 1973 at age 84.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gene Bell and Mrs. Alpha Biggerstaff of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Homer McGlade, Stockton, Calif.; two brothers, Walter and Ed of Malvern.
