RED OAK - Bacil Albert Hunt, 87, of Red Oak died Saturday (April 18., 1992) at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Red Oak.

He was raised in Silver City and had lived in Glenwood, Neola and Oakland. He moved to Red Oak in 1968, after retiring from farming, and worked for the Farmers Mercantile, Na-Churs and Acorn Acres.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda of Red Oak; one daughter, Mary Ellen Burns of Creston; two sons, Harry of Council Bluffs and Charles of Macedonia; one sister, Marjorie Blackman of Malvern; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home in Red Oak. The Rev. Fred Jones will officiate.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home in Red Oak.

Memorial are suggested to the Heart Fund.

Additional Information from submission source: Bacil’s birthdate was August 22, 1904. He was born at Silver City, Iowa to Charlie Lee Hunt and Cara Edna (Moore) Hunt. On December 25, 1925 he was married to Hilda Helena Stille.
