DATED JUNE 1985:

Services were June 28 in Lincoln, Neb. for Clifford D. White, 62, of Lincoln. He died June 26 (1985) in Veterans Hospital in Lincoln following a long illness.

White was born on April 14, 1923 near Glenwood, the son of George Iven and Goldie Boyce White. He was raised on a farm near Glenwood and graduated from Glenwood High School with the class of 1941. He entered the U. S. Air Force in 1943 and served three years during World War II, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross. He married Verna Beldin on Nov. 1, 1944. They moved to Lincoln 16 years ago, where he worked at remodeling kitchens, owning his own business for a time. The past six years White was a maintenance man at Homestead Nursing Home in Lincoln. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Verna; one daughter, Connie Stricker of Oklahoma City; two sons, John of Hurrah, Okla. and Brian of Lincoln; six grandchildren; his mother, Goldie White of Glenwood; and one sister, Irene Wunschel of Malvern. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, George White.

Services were at Ropers Mortuary and interment was at College View Cemetery in Lincoln.
