Fred Williams Died in Los Angeles

Mrs. W. C. Marshall received word Wednesday that her cousin, Fred Williams, passed away May 20 of pneumonia in a hospital in the city of Los Angeles, California where he resided and was employed in ship building. The deceased who was a son of Mrs. John Williams and the late John Williams, was born near Glenwood. In addition to Mrs. Elvira Haynie and Mrs. Marshall, he is also related to the descendants of James Miller in this community. His immediate survivor is one son, Alfred, with whom he made his home. The body of Williams is to be cremated and his son, who is soon to be called to selective service, plans to bring the ashes to Mancus, Colorado to bury them beside his daughter, Margaret and father John Williams, before leaving to take his place in the army.
