Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Raynor Chapel for Mrs. Ossa Coster Stephens, who died March 22 in Glenwood. The Rev. H. T. Powles officiated. Music was by Mrs. Herman Folkerts and Mrs. Frank Willey with Miss Ruth Miller, pianist.

Casket bearers were W. L. Powles, Walter Briley, C. D. Hunt, Frank Willey, Lester Hunt and F. H. Hopp.

Last resting place was in the Thurman Cemetery, Thurman, Ia.

Ossa Orrissa Stephens, daughter of R. H. and Orrissa Coster, was born Feb. 17. 1869 in Lyons Township, Mills County, Iowa, and passed away March 22, 1956 at 8:55 p.m. at the Gladys Ross Rest Home in Glenwood.

At the age of 11, she with her parents, moved to Bartlett, Iowa, where she spent most of her life.

She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1886. She was always active in the work until her health failed her, but was faithful until the end.

She was united in marriage June 3, 1915 to Mitchell M. Stephens, who preceded her in death a number of years ago.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Cerebral hemorrhage; arteriosclerosis
