Funeral services for Ralph Hunter were held Oct. 10 at Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Mr. Hunter died Oct. 7 while under hospitalization in Hamburg, Ia. for a lengthy illness. He was 44.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hunter, Disney; two children and two grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Hunter, Palmdale, Calif., and Guy Hunter, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hutchison, Disney; Mrs. Lorna McNelley, Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Geneva Welty, Woodward, Okla.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Opal Schmitz.

Mr. Hunter was born in Pacific Junction, September 7, 1931 where he lived for several years. He was married in 1951 and became the father of two children.

He worked as a railroad switchman in Pacific Junction and later worked as an electrician for the railroad in Galesburg, Ill.

Mr. Hunter also worked in interior decorating in the Glenwood area.

Serving as casket bearers at the funeral were Robert Bose, Charles Prindle, Franklin Raymond, Duane Harmon, Merrill Sargent and Lee Wilcox.

Music was provided by Mrs. Alex Christiansen, Mrs. Marion Shook, and Mrs. Francis Dashner, organist. Clergymen in attendance were the Rev. George Durkee and the Rev. Hugh Berry.

Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.
