Services were Thursday in Glenwood for Clara Mae Hunter, 89. She died July 30 at Woodward Nursing Center in Woodward, Okla.

Mrs. Hunter was born on Aug. 27, 1894, the daughter of Stephen A. and Mary Elizabeth Howard in Pacific Junction. She married Charlie Hunter in 1914. To this union seven children were born. The Hunters lived on a farm south of Pacific Junction until retiring. They lived in Anderson until Mr. Hunter died, then Clara moved to Oklahoma to live with her daughter.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Hutchison of Sidney, Lorna McNelley of Reno, Nev. and Geneva Welty of Woodward; one son, Guy of Tucson, Ariz.; and many grand children and great-grandchildren. She preceded by her husband, two sons, Earl and Ralph, and one daughter, Opal Schmitz.

Graveside services were conducted by Raynor Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Sigler officiating.
