The Glenwood Opinion Tribune dated 01-13-1999:

Hilda H. Hunt, 93, of Red Oak died on Jan. 7, 1999 at the Vista Gardens Care Center in Red Oak. Funeral services were Monday at the Sellergren-Lendell-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. Rev. Fred Jones officiated the service.

Mrs. Hunt was born the daughter of Joseph and Anna Stille on Jan. 15, 1905 near Pony Creek. She was raised in the Glenwood area. She was united in marriage to Bacil Hunt on Dec. 25, 1925 in Glenwood. They lived in Glenwood, Neola and for many years in the Oakland community. They moved to Red Oak in 1968. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Oak.

Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, and three sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Mary and husband Fred Burns of Creston; two sons, Harry Hunt of Council Bluffs and Charles Hunt of Macedonia; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
