The Opinion Tribune dated 12-14-1961:

Vera Frances (Keith) Boyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Keith, was born Dec. 15, 1918, near Malvern and died last Friday at a hospital in Council Bluffs at the age of 42 years, 11 months and 23 days.

She was united in marriage to Ferdinand L. Boyce Oct. 19, 1938, and four children were born to this union. The family moved to Glenwood in 1953 and became active in the Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Boyce taught Sunday school and also served two years as church school treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1953.

Surviving are her husband; her four children, Mrs. Arthur (Marilyn) Prien of Glenwood, Donald, a student at Iowa State University, Ames and Dorothy and Jon of the home; her mother, Mrs. Esther Keith of Glenwood; two sisters, Mrs. William Swisher of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Clarence Boles Jr., of Glenwood; two brothers, Wayne Keith of Glenwood and Dwight Keith of Silver City, and a granddaughter LaDonna Prien.

Services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Raynor-Hamilton funeral chapel by the Rev. E. O. Davis. Music was provided by Mrs. Phillip Lenz, Mrs. Verla Chambers, Mrs. Steve Mitchell and Jacquie Chambers.

Flower ladies were Mrs. Fred Farris, Gladys Buckingham, Mrs. E. O. Davis, Mrs. Flossie Hood and Mrs. Winnie Radford.

Pallbearers were Dale, Vern, Duane, Glen, Lyle and Lawrence Sell.

Burial was in West Liberty cemetery.
