September 29, 1941Services Tuesday for Fred Techau, Sr.
Fred J. Techau, Sr., 77, well known Mineola farmer passed away Saturday at the Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs after a lingering illness. The body was removed to the Myers funeral home in that city which will be in charge of the services which will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Mineola St. John’s Lutheran church with the pastor, Reverend O. C. Bierman in charge.
Mr. Techau, who had resided in the Mineola community for the past 25 years, is survived by his wife, Martha, five daughters, Mrs. Hans Vogt, Neola; Mrs Nels Schoening, Mrs. Alvin Fox and Miss Ella Techau of Council Bluffs, and Miss Audrey Techau of Glenwood; five sons, Donald and Henry of Glenwood; Nick of Council Bluffs; Fred of Silver City; Albert of Oklahoma, and one step-son Carl Fisher of Council Bluffs.
