Services Held Monday for Clara Morris

Funeral services were held this Monday afternoon in the Myers-James Funeral home here for Clara Morris, 63, who passed away Friday following an illness of several month duration.

The daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Henry Pearson, she was born in Mahaska county, Iowa, December 20 1874 coming with her parents to this community when a child of three. She continued her residence here for a period of 60 years. For many years she was employed in the William Lugseh dry cleaning establishment of this city which position she retained until failing health made it impossible to continue with her work. Both parents preceded her in death several years ago. The only surviving relatives here now are her sister, Mrs. C. W. Dunn and her nephew Frank Dunn.

The services were conducted by Reverend J. S. Reel, pastor of the Christian church. Music consisted of two selections rendered by William Lugsch, jr., with Miss Geneva Lawson at the piano. Floral offerings were cared for by Mrs. C. M. Killmon and Mrs. Ray Stove. Pallbearers were W. S. DeMoss, William Lugsch, sr., Ralph McPherron, Lewis Robinson, William, Slezak and Lew Dunn. The body was laid to rest in the Glenwood cemetery.
