Sylvia Ann Combs, 85, Pacific Junction

Funeral services for Sylvia Ann Combs, 85, of Pacific Junction will be held Thursday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Rev. Don Maynard will officiate, with burial in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Combs passed away Monday, March 28, in Council Bluffs.

She was born June 1, 1902, in Sidney, the daughter of Issac and Francis Goodwin Swisher. She later married Aaron B. Combs.

Survivors include one son, James Combs of Glenwood; three daughters, Dorothy Haden of Glenwood, Darlene Nelson of Bristol, Tenn., and Beverly Campagna of Omaha, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Combs was a lifetime resident of Mills County. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday night at Peterson Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Pacific Junction Rescue Squad.
