Twila Garrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Garrett, well-known farmers of Elm Grove district, died at the home of her parents Monday afternoon, March 7 (1927), following an illness of nearly a year. Funeral services will be conducted in the Fairview church at 2 o'clock Wednesday by Rev. J. H. Freedline. Burial will be made in the Fairview cemetery.

Miss Garrett leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Garrett; seven sisters, Mrs. Maud Randall, Mrs. Gladys Gilmore, Mrs. Dorothy Hedgecock, Mrs. Irene McKinney, Mrs. Edith Seeger and Louise and Marjorie Garrett; three brothers, John, Elmer and Audrey, and a host of friends and other relatives.
