Mrs. Mittie B. Epperson, 73, Lake Manawa, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was a resident of Council Bluffs for 25 years and a member of the First Christian Church.

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Woodring's chapel with Rev. Loren Works of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Glenwood, Ia.

Surviving are her husband, Charles G. Epperson, five sons, Archie and O. L. Epperson of Council Bluffs, Harry of Omaha, Vern in New York, Gerald of Evanston, Wyo., two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Allen and Mrs. Dottie Fulton of Plattsmouth, Neb., two brothers, Oscar and George Farrell in Idaho, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Woodring funeral home.
