I, the undersigned, F. J. Kirkpatrick, of Glenwood, Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.

I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses of last sickness and burial be first paid out of my estate.

To my wife, Sarah J. Kirkpatrick, I give one third of all my property, of every kind, both real and personal, and in addition thereto the sum of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars in cash, said amount being the sum which she had at time of our marriage. In addition I also give to my wife all the household goods.

To my daughter, Hattie E. Kirkpatrick, I give one third of all my property which remains after the above bequests to my wife are satisfied, and in addition to said share, the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars in cash. Said bequest is made to my daughter in recognition of her services rendered to myself and family for many years, and is additional to sums paid her during my lifetime, or notes given to her during said period.

I give the remainder of my property, after the bequests to my wife and daughter are paid, in equal shares to my two sons, Robert H. Kirkpatrick and Charles Kirkpatrick.

I appoint my son Robert H. Kirkpatrick and my daughter, Hattie E. Kirkpatrick, as Executor and Executrix of this my last Will, and request that they be appointed as such by the Probate Court without bond.

Dated this 20th day of September, 1912. Signed F. J. Kirkpatrick
