WILL OF J.M. WEST
I J.M.West of the County of Mills and state of Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and conscious of the uncertainty of this life do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills that I may have heretofore made.
Item 1 It is my will and desire that at my death all just debts by me owing shall be paid out of my estate as well as all charges for last sickness and funeral expenses.
Item 2 I hereby bequeath to my beloved wife Ann E. West for her use and comfort so long as she shall live all and singular my property of every description which I may be siezed of at my death. She to enjoy the use and income of the same so long as she shall live and immediately upon her death should she survive me, then all of the property of my estate remaining shall then pass, by this my will, to my beloved daughter May A. Aistrope she to have and to hold the same to her and her heirs forever.
Item 3 I make no bequests of property or money to any other of my children or heirs as all have had advances of property from me which I consider to be equal to any portion which they should ever receive from my estate.
Item 4 I do hereby nominate and appoint as executrix of this my said will, May A. Aistrope and request that she be exempted from giving bond for the full and faithful performances of her duties as such.
In witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my name this 27th day of March A.D. 1902.
Signed J. M. West
