I, Elizabeth Cook, of Mills County and State of Iowa, do hereby make and publish this, my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making null and void all other Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made. All the property, real, personal, or mixed, of which I shall die seized or possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I give, devise, bequeath and dispose of in the manner following, to wit:

#1 My will is that all my just debts and funeral charges shall first be paid out of my estate by my executors.

#2 I give and bequeath to Mrs. Grace L. Hathaway three hundred dollars in cash.

#3 I give and bequeath to Mrs. Bertha Boot one feather bed and two pillows.

#4 I give and bequeath to Floyd Cook his Grandpa’s silver watch.

#5 I give and bequeath to my son George R. one feather bed and two pillows.

#6 I give and bequeath to my son Daniel M. Cook, two featherbeds and four pillows.

#7 And it is my request that the remainder of my household goods be equally divided between my two sons, George R. and Daniel M.

#8 I give and devise to my son Daniel M. aforesaid, his heirs and assigns, lots number nine hundred twenty-two (922), to nine hundred twenty-seven inclusive located in Hastings, Iowa, and all the heridiments and appurtenance thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining, to have and to hold the premises above described to the said Daniel M. his heirs and assigns forever.

#9 I give and bequeath to my son George R. in lieu of the said Real Estate, one thousand dollars.

#10 It is my request that twenty dollars be deposited in the Botna Valley State Bank and the interest of which shall be used to defray the yearly expenses of my cemetery lot.

#11 And all the rest of the residue of my estate, of which I shall die seized and possessed, I give and bequeath, to be equally divided between and among my sons George R. and Daniel M.

#12 I nominate and appoint my sons, George R. and Daniel M. to be the executors of this, my last Will and Testament, without bond.
