This instrument of writing is the last will and testament of me, William Barrett of Mills County, State of Iowa being in good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous of settling all my worldly affairs while I am in the full possession of my bodily and mental powers, do hereby make publish and declare this instrument as and for my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills made by me at any time heretofore, that is to say: I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever including all my real personal and mixed property which I now possess as well as all of said property that I may hereafter acquire die seized and possessed of or be entitled to of whatever kind or nature the same may be unto my wife Mary M. Barrett her Executors Administrators and assigns for her own sole use and benefit and I hereby select and appoint my said wife Mary M. Barrett my sole Executor of my last will and testament and I direct that she be exempt from giving bond as such Executrix.

In witness whereof I the said William Barrett have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of June A. D. 1873. Signed William Barrett

Signed by the above and within named William Barrett as and for his last will and testament in presence of us, present at the time who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as attesting witnesses.
