I, Ida J. Briggs, of Glenwood, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills or testamentery dispositions by me made, in manner and form following:

First..I direct that all my just debts, including the expense of my last sickness and burial, be first paid as soon after my decease as is practical.

Second..I direct my executor herein after named to deposit Thirty Dollars in the Mills County National Bank at the prevailing interest paid on deposits, said interest to be paid annually to the Glenwood Cemetery Association.

Third..I give and bequeath to the Congregational Church of Glenwood, Iowa, the sum of One Hundred Dollars.

Fourth..I give and bequeath to my sister Mrs. Carrie Cummings the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars.

Fifth..The residue of my estate of which I may die seized and possessed, or to which I may be entitled, whether real, personal or mixed, after the expense of administration of my estate have been paid, I give, devise and bequeath to my two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cummings and Mrs. Alice Cummings, share and share alike should they survive me. But if either of my said sisters should die before my demise, the share herein bequeathed to either or both of them so dieing before my death, I give and bequeath to their respective children the share that would have gone to such sister should she have survived me, share and share alike. And should my said sisters survive me and receive the bequest contained in this paragraph at the death of my said sisters, I give and bequeath to the respective children of my said sisters, share and share alike.

Sixth..I nominate and appoint E. B. Woodruff of Glenwood, Iowa, executor of this my last will and testament, and exonerate him from giving bond for the faithful performance of his duty.

Dated and signed at Glenwood, Iowa, this 29th day of December 1915..Ida J. Briggs, Testatrix.

We, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above and foregoing instrument was signed by Ida J. Briggs in our presence, and by her declared to be her last will and testament, and that we at her request, in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
