Will of Rebecca Bently Deceased.

Know all men by these presents:

That I Rebecca J. Bently, of Malvern, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.

Item 1. It is my will and I hereby devise and bequeath to my daughter Alice Bently, my homestead property, situated and located in Malvern, Iowa, and described as follows, to-wit;
Lots four (4) and five (5), in Block fifteen (15), as designated on the original recorded plat in the town of Malvern, in Mills County, Iowa, ; also all household and kitchen furniture of every kind and nature located in the buildings on the above described premises.

Item 2. It is my will and I hereby devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate that I may own at my death, including real, personal and mixed property to my seven children, Anna Wyant, Alice Bently, Bessie Mulhollan, Nellie Woods, Wilma Higgins, Harry W. Bently and my grandchild, Vera Donner; the samed to be divided in equal shares among my said chilren and grandchild.

Item 3. It is my will and I hereby direct that in the event that I should die before my grandchild Vera Donner, becomes of legal age, I then direct that the portion of my estate willed to my said grandchild in Item 2 hereof, be paid to my daughter Alice Bently to hold in trust for said grandchild until she arrives at the age of her majority and I further direct that in the event of the death of my daughter Alice Bently before my said grand-child, Vera Donner, beomes of legal age, then and in that event I direct that Walter Uttvits be appointed by the Court to take charge of said fund until my said grandchild arrives at her majority.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name to this my Last Will and Testament this 13th day of September, A.D. 1917, in the presence of A. J. Conner and Kenneth R. Cook, attesting hereto at my instance and request.

We A.J. Conner and Kenneth R. Cook, subscribing witnesses to the Last Will and Testament of Rebecca J. Bently do hereby sign the name in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other and hereby by certify that we saw the said Testratrix sign her name to said will and that she was competent to make a will:
