I Charles Abel of Mills County, Iowa being of sound mind and memory do publish
and declare this to be my last will and tstament, that is to say;First, I will devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Clara E. Abel, during
her natural life, all the property of which I shall die seized or possessed,
of whatsoever nature it may be. If at any time the income from such property
should not be sufficient to support her then she may mortgage or sell so much
of said property as may be necessary to raise proceeds with which to support
herself, added to the income received.All of the property thus willed to her I devise and bequeath, at her death as
follows;1. One half to my two children by a fomer wife, Millie Bertha a daughter, and
Otto Adin Abel, son, share and share alike.2. One half to the four children of my wife by a former husband, share and
share alike.Second; If, at the time of my death wither of the said six children, mine or
hers, shall owe me anything, the amount of such debt shall be deducted,
finally from the legacy of such child.Third; I hereby appoint my said wife as Executrix of this will without bond.
Any and all wills which I may have heretofore made are hereby revoked. Signed
by me at Glenwood, Iowa this August 24 1914.Charles Abel
We the undersigned, hereby certifiy that at the request of the foregoing named
testator, we witnesses his signing the foregoing will, he at the time
declaring it to be his last will and testament and we certify that at the time
he was of sound mind.Signed August 24, 1914
