Be it remembered that I Polly Ashley of Rawls (sic) Township, Fremont County (Rawles Twp is in Mills County on the Fremont County line. C.M.)Iowa, being of sound mind do make my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say:

I order and direct that all my just debts shall be paid with convenient speed. I give, devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate both real and personal, of whatsoever it may consist or wheresoever it may be found, to my beloved husband E. R. Ashley, and after his decease to W. M. Ashley and Amanda Ashley and their heirs forever. I appoint E. R. Ashley, the above named legatee, the executor of this my last will, without bond.

I hereby revoke all wills by me heretofore made and expressly declare this to be my last will.

In witness whereof I the above named testator, have hereunto set my hand this Eighth day of February in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ninety. Signed Polly Ashley
