WILL OF WILLIAM MACKEY

I, William Mackey, residing at Tabor Iowa, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made. That is to say:

1st..Pay all my just debts, both public and private.

Paragraph 1..To Etta Clark, daughter of my deceased sister, Rachel, I give but the sum of six hundred dollars ($600) absolutely.

Paragraph 2..To my beloved sisters Sarah A. and Elizabeth S. Mackey I give all Lots and parts of Lots situated in the town of Tabor which I may own at the time of my death, also all cash, moneys and credits, share and share alike.

Paragraph 3..To my sister Martha Rodman of Tabor, my brother James A. Mackey of Hamburg, Iowa, Rose Bergestine of Chase Co., Nebraska, my sister Sarah A. Mackey of Tabor, Iowa, my sister Elizabeth S. Mackey of Tabor, John H. Mackey of Tabor, Iowa and Charley L. Mackey of Tabor, I give all farm lands that I own or have an interest in, share and share alike. It is my wish that my Executor hereinafter named pay all taxes and administration charges from sale of stock on the farm; that is the bequests in paragraph 2 are to be paid without deduction for taxes, either state or inheritance, so far as the farm lands are concerned. Share and share alike. It is my wish that my Executor of this my last will and testament be granted authority to sell at public or private sale as in his judgment may seem best, my farm land, crops and stock for cash, divide the same to above, share and share alike.

Paragraph 4..It is my wish that the Court appoint my nephew C. M. Rodman, of Tabor, Iowa, Executor of this my last will and testament without bond.

Dated at Tabor, Iowa, this 2nd day of September A. D. 1921

We, Dayre Williams and Hazel Frost did at the request of William Mackey, witness this will of two pages. We did sign same in his presence and in the presence of each other, and he did acknowledge the same to be his last will and testament.
