MARQUIS LAFAYETTE SCOTT

I, Marquis Lafayette Scott, of Pacific Junction, Mills County, and State of Iowa, do hereby
make and publish this, my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all
other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. All the property, real, personal, or mixed, of
which I shall die seized or possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease,
I give, devise, bequeath and dispose of in the manner following, to wit:

Paragraph 1, My will is that all my just debts and funeral charges shall first be paid out of my
estate by my executors.

Paragraph 2, I give, will, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Emma J. Scott, all of my
property, real, personal or mixed, of which I shall die seized or possessed, or to which I shall
be entitled at the time of my decease, to be here (sic) in absoute right.

Paragraph 3, I nominate and appoint my said wife, Emma J. Scott executrix of this my last will
and testament, without bond.

In testimony, whereof, I, the said Marquis Lafayette Scott have subscribed my name this 6th
day of November A.D. 1917.

the presence of us, who at his request, and in his sight, presence, and in the presence of each
other, have subscribed our names as attesting witnesses hereto, this 6th day of November
