WILL OF EMANUEL GARRETT

I, Emanuel Garrett of the County of Mills and State of Iowa, being of lawful age, sound and
disposing mind and memory and free to act do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my
last will and testament in the words and figures following, that is to say:

First - I hereby authorize my administrator to dispose of all my property both personal and real
estate, of every nature and description and wheresoever found that I now have or may
subsequently acquire and of which I may die seized and possessed, and after the payments of
all my just debts and funeral expenses. I hereby authorize my administrator to divide the
balance of the money left equally between the following heirs, George Garrett, Louisa Orton,
Anna Harrington, Emma Boyd, Rachel Good, and the heirs of Sarah Swinerton (deceased).

I hereby nominate and appoint George H. Garrett as Administrator of this my last will and
testament without bonds.

Given as my last will and testament at Tabor in the County of Mills and State of Iowa, this 9th
day of August, 1912.....Signed Emanuel Garrett

The foregoing instrument was on the date thereof, signed by Emanuel Garrett, the testator, in
our presence, and declared to be his last will and testament, and we, at his request, in his
presence and in the presence of each other hereby subscribe the same as attesting witnesses
thereto. Dated this 9th day of August 1912
