WILL OF C. F. ROENFELD-Mills County Iowa

Know all men by these presents that I, C. F. Roenfeld of Mineola, Mills County and State of
Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last will and
testament, revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, in the manner
following, that is to say:

First, I direct that all my lawful debts, the expenses of my last sickness and burial and of the
administration of my estate, be first paid and subject hereto.

Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Lena Roenfeld, all my household goods and
other personal property consisting of monies and chattels of every nature, also the income and
rents of all real estate of which I shall die seized and possessed instead of her Dower, to be
enjoyed by her during her natural life.

Third, After the decease of my wife, Lena Roenfeld, the Executor of my estate shall pay the
following legacies.

1. To my stepson, August Spetmann, the sum of One Thousand Dollars.

2. To my daughter, Lena, wife of John Schoening, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars

3. To my daughter, Mary, wife of August Schoening, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars

4. After the above legacies are paid the balance and residue of my estate of whatsoever kind
and nature shall be legally divided among my six children share and share alike, namely, My
Son, F. F. Roenfeld, my son, Hy F. Roenfeld, my son Louis F. Roenfeld, my son, Louis D.
Roenfeld, my son, Wm. F. Roenfeld, my daughter, Lena, wife of John D. Schoening, my
daughter, Mary, wife of August Schoening, or their respective heirs at law.

Lastly I do hereby appoint as sole executor of this my last Will and Testament, my son, F. F.
Roenfeld, of Oak Township, Mills County, Iowa, and hereby empower him to deed all lands
heretofore on sold contract to my sons, Hy F. Roenfeld, Wm. F. Roenfeld and Louis D.
Roenfeld or their respective heirs at law. My said Executor F. F. Roenfeld shall not be required
to give bonds as such executor.

In witness whereof I have heretofore set my hand and seal this tenth day of March One

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof signed and declared by
the said C. F. Roenfeld as and for his last Will and Testament in presence of us who at his
request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
