WILL OF JENNIE MCCLURE
Last will of Jennie McClure of Pacific Junction, Iowa
I, Jennie McClure being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby ask, publish and
declare this to be my last will and testament.1... I direct that my just debts, expense of last sickness and funeral be paid out of my estate.
2...All the remainder of my property of whatever kind, name or nature I give to my husband
John B. McClure while he shall live and at his death to be divided equally among my five
children, Frank McClure; H. C. McClure; May Lathrop; Fred McClure and Edward McClure.3...Realizing that my said husband is not in condition to have the handling and proper
disposition of the property left by me for his use and benefit I appoint my daughter May
Lathrop and my son Edward McClure as joint executors to handle said property for him and
give them full authority to apply any or all of said property or funds for the care and comfort of
my said husband, the payment of any money to be done on their joint action. And they are to
use said fund to provide proper burial for him and to cover his funeral expenses and other
necessary charges for medicine and doctor bills before any division is made among the heirs
and if it shall take the whole of said property to so provide for my husband this shall be done
though there shall be nothing left for division among my said children. That proper funeral and
burial expenses may be provided for my said husband I direct that $200.00 of the funds left by
