WILL OF EPHRAIM BURROUGHS

In the Name of God, Amen.

I, Ephraim Burroughs of Mills County, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory and mindful of
the uncertainty of life do make this my last Will and Testament.

I give, devise and bequeath unto my well beloved wife, Lydia Ann Burroughs all my Real
Estate and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever to be held, used, enjoyed and
disposed of by her for her own use behoof and benefit absolutely and entirely.

And I appoint hereby my said wife sole Executrix of my Estate and exempt her from giving
bond or going through formalities of law in any respect.

In witness whereof I the said Ephraim Burroughs have hereunto set my hand and seal this
15th day of May A.D. 1869

Signed by the said Ephraim Burroughs as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence
of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto
subscribed our names as attesting witnesses thereto.
