WILL OF PHOEBE PROVOST

The last will and testament of Phoebe A. Provost.

I, Phoebe A. Provost, of the County of Mills and State of Iowa, of the age of (not given) years,
being not unmindful of the certainty of death, and while in the full possession of my mental
faculties, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the manner and
form following, that is to say:

1. I hereby revoke and make null and void any and all former wills by me at any time
heretofore made.

2. Subject only to the payment of my just debts, the expenses of my last sickness and funeral,
I give, devise and bequeath to my legal heirs whoever and wherever they may be at the time
of my decease, all property real, personal or mixed, of which I may be siezed, possessed of or
in any manner be entitled to, including the proceeds of my policy or policies of life insurance,
the same to descend to my said children in the same manner as if this will had not been made.

3. I hereby nominate and appoint my daughter, Kathrine Rishell, of Glenwood, Iowa, sole
executrix of this my last will and testament and specifically request that she be permitted to act
as such executrix without the necessity of giving bond.

In witness hereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 30th day of October A.D. 1897

The foregoing instrument was on the date thereof signed by the said Phoebe A. Provost, in
our presence and she at said time declared the same to be her last will and testament and we
at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto
subscribed out names as attesting witnesses thereto.
