6 June 1906Miss Laura Stone of Emerson was married June 18 to James Latimer of Red Oak, the ceremony taking place at Denver.
Miss Stone is a daughter of Mrs. W. S. Douglas and was for several years the popular operator at the "Tabor" telephone exchange at Emerson. She was also in charge for a time at the office in Glenwood where she has a brother residing -- Ed Stone of the Heinscheimer store.
The groom is well known at Red Oak where he has resided for some years.
Mr. and Mrs. Latimer will reside for the present at Boulder, Colorado. The Tribune extends best wishes.
