A wedding of interest, involving two well known young people of Center township, occurred at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Schade.

George Dewey VanOrsdel and Miss Florence Schade were the high contracting parties. In the presence of two dozen relatives of the immediate families, these young people took the vows of matrimony under the ceremonial pronouncement of Rev. D. S. Thompson of Glenwood.

The bride, gowned in white georgette, and groom stood beneath the emblematical wedding bells, as beautiful as the florist could make. They were accompanied by Miss Erma Schade, sister of the bride, and Everett Sawyers. The ring ceremony was used, and a girl friend, Miss Mary Culver, sang "O, Promise Me" and also played the wedding march.

Following the ceremony the guests were served refreshments.

After a brief wedding trip to Nebraska's metropolis, they will begin home keeping on the farm of the groom's mother, Mrs. Flora VanOrsdel. The Tribune most heartily joins in congratulations.
