POPULAR MINEOLA GIRL'S MARRIAGE JUST ANNOUNCED

Miss Eva Kiersch and Ezra Speck of Millard, Nebraska, Married in Omaha January 20th -- Announcement Party Held Saturday

The many relatives and friends of Miss Eva Kiersch of Mineola and Ezra Speck of Millard, Nebraska, were pleasantly surprised to learn that they had stolen a march on them and had been secretly married since January 20. The marriage took place at the residence of Rev. K. DeFreese of the Redeemer Lutheran church of Omaha, Nebraska. They were accompanied by Miss Izetta Kiersch, a sister of the bride. Announcement of the event was made at a party given by Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kiersch of Mineola, Saturday evening, February 13.

The bride was grown to womanhood in Mineola, attending the local schools, and is well known in Silver City, where she graduated from high school. After taking post graduate work at Boulder, Colorado, she has taught school 10 years in Mills county. For 17 years she has been the organist of the Mineola church and in recent years the director of the choir. She has always taken an active part in the musical activities of the community. Mr. Speck is a dairy farmer living one and one-half miles from Millard, Nebraska.

Late in the evening the hostess served a delicious luncheon of potato salad, pickles, pressed chicken and sandwiches, lemon fruit salad, cake and coffee. Those present included Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Kruse of Silver City, Ed and Raymond Kruse, Mrs. W. F. Roenfeld, Emma, Alice, Clarence and Lee Roenfeld, Harry and Emma Schoening, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kiersch and children, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kiersch and Izetta and the bridal couple.
