PIRMANN, Jacob

I, Jacob Pirmann, being of the age of sixty-nine and being of sound and disposing mind and good memory, do hereby make this my Will and Testament as follows:

1. I do hereby direct and it is my will that all of my just debts, if any, be paid first out of any property of which I may possess or seized at the time of my death.

2. It is my will and I do hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my five children, named Henry Pirmann, of Moline, Illinois; Emilia Pirmann Vieriech, of Davenport, Iowa; Anna Pirmann Landenn of Moline, Illinois; Frank Pirmann, of Moline, Illinois; and Amanda Pirmann Holstein of Moline, Illinois; share and share alike all of the real property of which I may be seized or possessed at the time of my death, located in Moline, Illinois, consisting of four houses and the ground upon which same are located, to have and to hold the same unto themselves absolutely after my death.

3. It is my will and I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my wife, Emilia Pirmann, all of the remainder and rest of the personal and real property of which I may be possessed or seized at the time of my death, the same being located in Mineola, Iowa, or in the form of any cash which I may have at said time, or any other property outside of the Moline property as long as she shall live.

4. It is my will and I do hereby give devise and bequeath, after my death and after the death of my said wife, Emilie Pirmann, one half of the twelve lots and buildings thereon located in Mineola, Iowa, to the children of my wife, named Clara Pirmann Lanz, Theresa Pirmann Deitchler and Emilie Birmann, share and share alike and I do hereby give, devise and bequeath the other one half of the said twelve lots and buildings located thereupon in Mineola, Iowa to my five children named, Henry Pirmann, Moline, Illinois; Emilia Pirmann Vieriech, of Davenport, Iowa; Anna Pirmann Landeen, of Moline, Illinois; Frank Pirmann, of Moline, Illinois, and Amanda Pirmann Holstein, of Moline, Illinois, share and share alike.

5. It is my will and I do hereby direct that all of the cash which came from the sale of the farm which was formerly owned by my brother, Peter Pirmann, prior to his death, and which was provided for in a certain contract made and entered into by and between myself and my wife, and the three children of my wife and their husbands, on or about the 16th day of December, 1911, shall, after the death of myself and my said wife, be the property of and go to the three children of my said wife as provided in said contract.

6. It is my will and I do hereby direct that the provisions as made in this will with reference to my said wife, Emilie Pirmann, taking a life interest in and to the property, as herein provided, shall be in lieu of any and all of her dower rights.

7. It is my will and I do hereby direct that in case of my death prior to the death of my wife, that she be appointed the Executrix of my estate without bond.
