To all to whom these presents shall come, greeting.

I, Aaron Lewis of the county of Mills and State of Iowa, being of sound and disposing mind do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.

That is to say, after my death, and the full payment of all of my lawful debts, I give bequeath and will the rest and residue of all of my property, both the personal and real as follows, to wit:

1. To my beloved wife Mary J. Lewis I give bequeath and will to her all of my real estate situated in Mills County, Iowa and being described as follows: The South half of the North East quarter and South half of the North West quarter and West thirty three acres of the North West quarter of the South West quarter of Section No. Twelve, Township No. Seventy two, Range No. Forty two for the period of her natural life only. And in addition thereto, my said wife shall have and take the rental therefrom including the crops and all proceeds therefrom for her own use and support, as long as she may live. Also, I give and will to her all of my personal property of every kind. The same to be sold and the proceeds realized therefrom to be taken and used for the care and support of my said wife. And at her death I desire and to will that all of my said real estate as above described shall go to the following persons, if living. If not living the share that should have gone to each person had he been living shall go to the heirs of such party in the same way had he been living.

To R.(?) B. Lewis, Oliver L. Lewis and Elbert Lewis, the last two named being minor children of R. (?) B. Lewis. Said above described real estate to go to the last three named persons, share and share alike. And the personal property or the proceeds thereof, after the death of my wife, shall go to said last three named parties share and share alike. Said real estate nor any part thereof shall not be sold, nor divided, nor encumbered in anyway, so long as the youngest child above named shall be a minor.

I also authorize direct and empower my executors to expend such sum as may seem to him right for the purpose of purchasing and erecting a monument over my grave and the grave of my wife

I hereby appoint Miles (?) Phillips, Executor of this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me made.

The forgoing will was by the Testator, signed in our presence and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have signed our names thereto as witnesses.
