W. P. RIEMENSCHNEIDER DIES AT CITY HOSPITAL

State Center—(Special)—William Pat Riemenschneider, 76, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Thomas Mercy hospital in Marshalltown where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health a year. Born near State Center Feb. 4, 1872, he farmed near here and managed the separator in a threshing crew many years. In 1922 he retired and moved to State Center. He never married. He leaves a sister, Emma, with whom he lived. He was preceded in death by a number of sisters and brothers, Charles, John, Sam, Alfred, George, Henry, Anna, Clara and Laura. The body is at the Wensel funeral home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in charge of Rev. Elmer J. Braun.
