MRS. STEINMAYER, 84, DIES; SERVICES WILL BE THURSDAY

Mrs. Alice Mildred Steinmayer, 305 S. Center St., died at 2:05 a.m. Monday after a three week illness. Death was of a cerebral hemorrhage. A resident of Marshalltown since 1908, she was born Sept. 28, 1872 in Belle Plaine, daughter of John and Lydia Maholm. She was married to August Steinmayer Jan. 9, 1895, at Grundy Center and he died June 13, 1919. Surviving are two sons, Carl and Ivan, one granddaughter, Mrs. A. L. Fredrickson, and two great grandchildren, all of Marshalltown. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. The body is at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home where services will be at the chapel at 3 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Philip R. Anderson will be in charge and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
