MRS. FRED KRIEGEL, 43, DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Mrs. Fred W. Kriegel, 43, 5 North Eight avenue, died at 12:05 a.m. Monday at Evangelical Deaconess hospital after a few days illness. She was taken to the hospital Saturday morning for treatment. Mrs. Kriegel was born Jennie Mae Flint, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Flint in Poweshiek county, June 13, 1903, and was married to Fred Kriegel, July 5, 1919, at Tama. Mr. Kriegel died last Oct. 8. Surviving are four sons, Melvin, Fred Jr. and Robert, at home, and Gerald of Oakville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Flint of Tama; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Kenner and Mrs. Louis Cordt of Marshalltown, Mrs. Ward Jackson of Nevada and Miss Doris Flint of Tama, and one grandchild. One sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Wagner funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. George M. Thomas, pastor of the First Congregational church. Burial will be in Riverside.
