CHARLES HULIN DIES AT HIS HOME NEAR GILMAN

Charles Hulin, a life long resident of Marshall county, died at his home near Gilman at 5 p.m. Sunday. He had been in failing health for the past year. He was born Nov. 10, 1873 in Marshall county, a son of Oliver and Elizabeth Hulin. In 1890 he was graduated from Gilman high school and later attended Drake university. On Feb. 22, 1899, he married Julia Mock, Rev. W. E. Smedley officiating. Surviving Mr. Hulin are Mrs. Hulin; four children, Mrs. Edna Larson of Marshalltown and Lyle, Chester and Lauder Hulin, all of Gilman; one sister, Mrs. Ida Carmer of Gilman and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Community church in Gilman in charge of Rev. James B. Hosler, pastor of the Marshalltown Gospel Tabernacle. Burial will be in the Prairie View cemetery at Gilman. The body will remain at the Estel funeral home here until Wednesday noon.
