EYESTONE RITES TO BE TUESDAY; FARMED 60 YEARS

Services for Dow Eyestone, who died Saturday evening, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. Orval E. Walker will be in charge and burial will be in the Albion Cemetery. Mr. Eyestone had farmed for 60 years northwest of Marshalltown until his retirement two years ago when he went to live with his daughter, Mrs. Lavern Williams, Route 1, and was a patient at the Henderson Nursing Home, 408 N. Center St., only a month. Mr. Eyestone was born Nov. 6, 1866 in Sycamore, Ohio, the son of John and Eliza Eyestone. He came to Iowa when a young man and settled in Marshall County. He was married 67 years ago in Marshalltown to Ida Lundstrum and she died in 1896. In addition to the daughter, Mrs. Williams, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hattie Snyder of Conrad. Two sisters preceded him in death.
