LYLE WILLIAMS DIES FOLLOWING OPERATION

Lyle Raymond Williams, 22, only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Laverne Williams, six miles north of Marshalltown, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday at the Deaconess hospital of general peritonitis following an operation for acute appendicitis. He was taken to the hospital Friday morning. Mr. Williams was born Oct. 25, 1917, on the home farm north of this city. Besides his parents he is survived by his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Williams and grandfather, D. W. Eyestone, both of this city. Two sisters, Elsie Irene and Nadine May, preceded him in death. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Estel funeral home in charge of Rev. P. C. Dennis. Burial will be in Riverside.
